Accord Architecture

Curries, Inc. is a subsidiary of Assa Abloy, and a major manufacturer of hollow metal frames world-wide and based in Mason City, Iowa. Curries has been a long-time client of Accord and Henkel Construction. Accord designed this frame plant for Curries along 12th Street in Mason City and soon after, designed the office building on the front side of this plant. The entire exterior envelope is precast concrete insulated wall panels, with steel beams and columns and open-web steel roof joists.

Becker Underwood, Inc. has hired Accord Architecture numerous times for design of additions and renovations to their manufacturing and office facilities in both Ames, Iowa and St. Joseph, Missouri. This project in St. Joseph is a pre-engineered metal building addition for manufacturing with a dock-area, warehouse space and a front office with a laboratory.
