Accord Architecture

After more than 30 years of use, the Dietary area at Palo Alto County Health System in Emmetsburg, Iowa was in dire need of attention. Accord designed this department to not only receive a facelift, but to improve the flow of customers and food products through the cafeteria and kitchen areas. The dietary department includes stainless steel equipment, countertops and tray return areas providing cleanliness and durability for the next 30 years. Recently named the "Coffey Cafe" as appropriately named after a former physician Dr. Coffey, the hospital recently took occupancy of the new kitchen area and cafeteria (constructed in two phases) providing Accord with rave reviews!

Accord designed a new cafeteria for Prairie Ridge Addiction Treatment Center in Mason City, Iowa as part of the larger addition and renovation project in 2003. Exciting colors and forms in this cafeteria improve the wellness experience for inpatients during this difficult time in their life. Curved ceilings, tuscan columns and varied floor patterns enhance this unique space.
